About
OWEXX is a Lithuanian company specializing in outdoor advertising. Founded in 2003 and based in Šiauliai, they operate a network of billboards and outdoor display spaces across the country. OWEXX helps brands reach wide audiences through strategic placements in high-visibility locations, offering services that include campaign planning, creative support, and physical media execution.

Goal
OWEXX wanted to expand their outdoor advertising business into digital formats and needed a platform to manage and track DOOH campaigns across various screen formats, including the launch of a unique triangular digital display in Kaunas. Later, they aimed to add audience measurement by tracking how many people viewed each ad.

Process
We started by building a custom DOOH platform that could control screen playback, manage campaigns, and support unusual display formats—including the triangular screen, the first of its kind in Kaunas. After a successful rollout, we integrated camera-based traffic tracking into the system to gather real-time data on screen impressions and engagement. This required low-latency video processing, people detection, and scalable analytics infrastructure.

Solution
The result was a flexible ad delivery system with advanced targeting and analytics. The platform enabled OWEXX to upload and manage campaigns centrally, while also visualizing real-time data from integrated traffic cameras. Advertisers could now see how many people viewed each screen, set impression limits per ad, and adjust campaigns dynamically based on live performance. The data also enabled OWEXX to offer more transparent reporting to clients.

Results
With this new system, OWEXX successfully transitioned into the DOOH space and gained a powerful competitive edge by offering performance-based advertising. The triangular display in Kaunas became a showcase of what’s possible with custom-built digital signage. Traffic tracking gave the team a data-driven way to sell and optimize campaigns, significantly improving the value and accountability of their inventory.
